The author of Twentieth century Mongolia - B. Batbayar
B. Batbayar, better know as Baabar, is well known as an author, as founder of the Social Democratic Party  - one of the first opposition parties to be formed - and also as a Finance Minister in the Mongolian Government. At first critical of socialism within a socialist framework, by the mid 1980's he had begun to question socialism itself. He continued his writing into the 1990's , often offering highly opinionated views of Mongolian society. He will offer a talk on a range of Mongolian subjects and answer your questions.
