Capitalism Killed Ice Hockey
Cafe Amsterdam English - Cultural Programme

 7.30pm on Wednesday 15th April 2009

We are delighted to offer a fantastic and interesting evening to introduce to you the colourful world of ice hockey in Mongolia. The evening will be hosted by Tyler, a Canadian, living and playing hockey for the last 8 years in Mongolia. He will also be joined by some of his fellow Mongolian team-mates. The evening will discuss the origins of the game in Mongolia to its present day struggle to survive without state funding. Mongolia has a seven city, eight-team league as well as many recreational teams which help many disadvantaged children get into sport.

Come and learn about something new! This promises to be a highly entertaining evening.
